Update on my sister's condition

Hi there.

Things are really not looking good for my sister right now. She was rushed to hospital this evening and was admitted because one of her kidneys has completely shut down. The doctors are going to start the chemo-therapy this Friday instead of later as they had hoped to be able to do. I just want to ask all of you who are praying for her to continue to do so. I'm really afraid that we might lose her very soon.

Peter

Tell her that prayers are circling the world , all to give her our strength and best wishes . We as one are thinking of you all .

God bless

Hi there.

Well my sister has had four blood transfusions to try and get her white cell count up. Apparently it was down around 60. She's also getting some kind of shot that cost $4,000.00 each that was hoped to super-saturate the count to over 100 but only brought it up to 80. They expect she will need 16 more of these shots. I don't know enough about any of this to know how bad her condition really is but I'm quite concerned for her. We all really appreciate the prayers many of you are offering for her.

Thanks and cheers from Peter

Hi there.

Things are really not going that good for my sister right now. The cancer specialists are hoping that she can take two more chemo treatments as she has had her last scheduled one but the cancer is still there and is around her kidneys. There is no way they can give her more than those two extra chemo treatments. They are going to do a couple of tests to see if she will be a candidate for other but very risky treatments. Basically we were told to hope for the best but prepare for the worst. My sister is trying to come to grips with and also get the family to accept the fact that she may die very soon. If any of you are still praying for her and the family we'd really appreciate your continued prayers.

I haven't been working on any models or much of anything else lately as I'm spending most of my time with her whilst her husband is at work and her daughter is at college. I really don't fell up to building anything just now.

Thanks from Peter

Family comes first Peter. Chris and I will continue praying for your Sister and all the family at this difficult time.

Take care, Peter! I'll continue to keep you and yours in thoughts and prayers. Be well, my friend!

God bless your sister Peter , ........ I just went through a very hard time my brother .

Thanks to all.

What makes this so hard for me is that both our parents died of cancers and this time with my sister is eerily like deja vu. It's almost the exact scenario that our parents went through. That makes it very hard to hold onto hope for my sister. All we can do is pray and hope that God will spare her.

Thanks again and cheers from Peter

Peter,

Your sister is still in our thoughts and prayers.

We are both cancer survivors.

I went through this with my father, my grandmother who raised me and recently my best friend.

Susan did the same with both her parents.

Cancer is such a terrible disease.

Shalom.

I thought I'd updated this in January 2011.

I hate to upset anyone but I thought that those of you praying for my sister and our family would want to know. I just had a call from my very upset niece. The Lymphoma is now everywhere in my sister's brain including the meninges. It s also pressing against the brain stem. The doctors said she might only have a few days left. Barring a major miracle we here are basically on a death-watch.

Oh Peter this is really sad news!! We will continue to pray for you, your sister, and the family.

Terry :(
