Two more Zeros

This time it is a Hasegawa A6M2-K trainer and a Tamiya A6M3 model 22. I'll have the build details on my website before long but I am having trouble getting things posted to forums in a timely manner. It's like, do I build, or do I post? Or do I go to grandkid baseball games and take photos and post them on my website for eager parents?

Changes were made to accommodate a place for the instructor in a cockpit behind the student. The fuselage is longer on the trainer with the engine further forward of the wing and the tail wheel strut is taller. This is the later version of the A6M2-K which has the wing of the A6M5 but still the engine of the model 21. The stores under the wings are targets for gunnery practice. There was no canopy for the student.

The cowl. prop, and canopy are all press fit so the model can be displayed in different ways.

Those are both so nice John, Canopy frames and painting in general spot on, joins and seams near perfect, i would be proud to have those on my shelf. 10/10

Grandchildren are finite. Blink twice, and they're off to college. Real Life first. Don't squander a second.
Your Zero models are stunners! The Zuikaku 21 is right in line with what I expect to see from you. Outstanding!
