This Fokkers Finished

Thanks Joe. The instrument faces are decals. Everything else is paint. Unfortunately the wooden floor and ip dont show the wood grain too well in the pics. The seat pad is oils over vallejo.

No pictures, but have the engine block and cylinders built and painted. Fiddly stuff next. Have to decide if I will wire it up seeing as you wont see a thing after the cowlings go on. Might try just for practice.

..... Greetings jknaus;

From what I have seen, your Fok. D-VII is coming along very nice...... :mpup

I was thinking about your problem showing the Mercedes engine on your D-VII.

I Have some engineering drawing on the Fokker D-VII. I will pass the to you
if you are interested in see them.

I am working on a SE-5/a2 and I have a similar problem. The solution I have fond,
is to show one side of the A/C with the engine cowling off, or in my aircraft,
the upper engine cowing was hinged.

.... I will pass the drawing to you, and you can figure out, what you want
to do.

..... Be Cool,
Mike

Thanks Mike. The cowlings can be left off but I want this one buttoned up. On other a/c you can still see a fair amount of detail, but this one is pretty well encased. I also have a few bookson the a/c, so I should be good when I buiold the second one. Thanks for the offer though.

Not going to wire up the engine. Am slowly getting it together, just not getting much bench time.
Some pics of the engine so far.

Oh and a side view of the cockpit.
BTW the red bands on the cylinders means its an over compressed engine.
