The Ukrainian 6447 5247H Titan

This is basically a 'What-if' project like the other project I did with the M915 Trumpeter kit and burnt-out excavator some years back. The basic kit is the Takom Ukrainian KrAZ-6446 Tractor with MAZ/ChMZAP-5247G Semi-Trailer. I had to shorten the chassi of both tractor and trailer to make it feasible for this particular type of look. The original trailer is capable of carry a tank but with these mods, it could carry something a little less than a tank. But again, I am playing with the idea and thought it would be something different than just the ordinary look of a kit. You guys should know me by now. I don't do normal. 😉 LOL!!!!!!!

Ground clearance? We don't need no stinking ground clearance!

Great build, and creative mind. This looks like it would be right at home on an airbase as a support equipment or maybe even a small heli hauler. :Drinks:

Now that would be great idea.
Another overwhelmingly masterful model! I'm speechless!
Glad you liked it. Thanks.
That's really nice!
Much appreciated.
The weathering is just amazing!
Thank you kindly.

Of all the years that I drove flat bed trucks and over sized loads this comes the closest to the real thing.

Thank you. Glad you think so. :)
I got the feeling Charles has the same experiences.
I'd hope. But unfortunately 've never driven a truck before. I've since converted this to a trailer instead. I am presently working on a wide ramp to replace the original ones. Will post when done.

Excellent work as always Charles!

Just one question......would there be more wear (and maybe dirt) on the flatbed from loading vehicles off and on? It doesn't look like it is modelled as a new trailer. Still love it though, just enquiring.:vgood:

Ian.

Hi Ian. Planning on adding more dirt grime. I've changed the look already. I've turned it into a stand alone trailer. I'm just scratch building a new back ramp for it now. Will post new photos of the changes.
