Hello friends! This kit has been in my stash awhile and finally made its way to the bench.
It's a great kit, a joy to build! The fit is extra good and there's loads of detail.
Adding some mud and grime to the hull.
Uncharted waters for me on this build, we're going to add some SNOW!
The tracks are link and length, Tamiya included a sag template in the box! Maybe a little too uniform, but made things extremely easy! The snow effects are made with Citadel Valhallan Blizzard. They are applied with a brush and I also used their application spatula. The snow effects sucked up some of the mud I had already applied, so it's not a fresh white like when first applied, but looks more realistic for what I'm planning. Tracks on!
