Here is my recently finished 1/100 scale Me 262 from the Tamiya Me 262/Me 163 double kit.
The model was built O.O.B. but the kit decals were not used because they were wildly inaccurate and did not look that good so I raided my spare decal box and came up with the markings of ''white 7'' a Me 262 operated by III./Erganzungsgeschwader 2 in 1945.
Most of this model was airbrushed free-handed except for a few areas where I needed to mask off to get a sharp edge. I did pre-shade the lower surfaces and it can just barely seen in a couple of my pics...proving you CAN pre-shade even a small model without having it look like a patchwork quilt.
