This was the second oldest WIP in my stash (the Kugelblitz being the oldest) Finished it at last, last month. The hold up occured when I sprayed the turret and couldn't understand why 4 days later it was still tacky with everything sticking to it, then I realised I had inadvertently used Lacquer thinners to thin my Tamiya acrylic paint. Shelved it at the prospect of cleaning off the turret and starting again. Fourteen years later I just had to finish it.
