Takom M3 Grant

Primer/shadow coat applied and drying.

I had to order thinner and NATO Black,did not realize I didn't have enough for all the painting I have to do. :smack

Well here we go for better are worse.

The Takom color call outs for the 7th AD are not what the experts are telling. According to them Light Stone is the base color and Green Khaki is the camo color.

For added interest I used black primer for the body and Lt Grey primer on the sand skirts.
Tomorrow it gets a blend coat of the base and then the camo will be outlined with Portland Stone 64.
Time permitting the wheels will be reinstalled then the tracks then the skirts.

Installed the last of the delicate parts now to seal the paint,place the decals and get her ready for the washes.
