Sturm Mecha in work

Gaso.Line 1/48 kit. A long 88 came with the kit. I added a 1/35 75mm barrel to simulate a 105mm howitzer in 1/48.

For paint,I am think a red brown/panzer gray pattern.

I got a coat of primer on today. This fron area still needs built up/filled in with putty.

The shooting plate does make for a weird looker - weirder looker propably the right phrase.

The recoil leg in the back is a home made deal. Over on a what if site,someone made a suggestion to me to make it.

I had to step away from the build for awhile. I have started the weathering,just on the one leg.
The red pigments I bought from Gator at the IPMS show. I put them on f dry. I am hoping I can brush off some of it.
I am trying to go for a subtle look.
