All of my book references are too general, Luiz. Colour schemes/profiles, grainy wartime photographs etc, but I'm still working through them. In the meantime, here's a little 'inspiration' for you....

Yes I know they're in 'winter clothes' and have nothing to do the 'Battle of Kursk', but you have to admit this is a very cool painting (please forgive the pun).
