ST-I (post war Hetzer)

Hi friends.

My next Big model is Hetzer from Tamiya with conversion from SKP model(blue resin)
Camuflage will be from Milovice Czechoslovakia army area in year 1955.

Johny : I'm glad to you like it my friend...Yes I make same 3-tone camuflage(Green sprayed and yellow + brown are job for hand with brush :laugh: )

I wrote one mistake...camo isn't from Milovice area...but from Slaný area :blush:

Hi Pavel, looks awesome!
This camouflage philosophy although unusual makes sence. Who would think that pink, green and bright yellow would hide anything as big as a tank in natural surroundings. The bright colors actually went a long way to help the vehicle hide. And the shape of these color blocks were designed to fool the eye by disrupting the shape of the vehicles.
It is said that the zebra has the most effective camouflage in nature. Of course looking at a zebra standing in front of you that would'nt seem true but from a certain distance the black and white strips make the zebra all but disappear. Plus at a run the pattern helps to confuse it's foe.
Camouflage is an interesting science to me. The Germans were masters of it. There was a method to the madness.
