It does not. Theres a styrene rod inside that's connected the top to the bottom.
Thanks! I'm so confusedA 3 section antenna should be the MP48 base, MS-52 blue and red, MS-51 red and yellow, MS-50 yellow and green. To my knowledge the illustration above is the start for the five section antenna which is made with the same set but starts with MS-53 and ends with MS-49.
I figured as much. Was mostly just joking. It does not. Theres a styrene rod inside that's connected the top to the bottom.
It is looking really good Tim! Making me ponder the new Gecko models 1/16th Chaffee that Andy now has in stock.I used some sterling silver wire because it's what I had that was the right diameter, not springy.I figured as much. Thanks Gary!Nice attention to detail. Gary S.
Thanks for those links Dave! The ones for the M3 will probably be used by me once I start up on my 1/16th M3. Also Andy has been adding more and more aftermarket 1/16th stuff as well as kits. Between Das Werk, Andy, Takom, and a couple of others that are offering 1/16th kits for reasonable prices (for the size and complexity) This scale has become much more interesting. Fun part is I also have several 1/16th scale VW kits. Might have to pull out the panel van next.![]()

Thanks Klotzen. I suspected the Peddinghaus offerings might not be as advertised.I suppose I could answer the Peddinghaus question too. I have one set of printed 1/35 heads and several sets of decals from their newer range of items. Super thick carrier film on the decals, the heads all have print lines and a lot of them. I don’t think there is any scenario that would make them useable. The old Peddinghaus stuff was good in that it covered some unobtainium but was not much different than other aftermarket product. I’m inclined to be very caution of any print product that only uses the elevation graphic to advertise. I want to see the actual printed item and I want it up close. I learned this, not too painfully, with MIG printed items, specifically the 1/35 M1919. Full of print lines and droops.

Gaspatch and Master-model both make my preferred MG's and they both have some things in 1/16th but nothing that would help this situation. too bad because if they did they would be perfect.
