Scale War Scenes has just released this wonderful gate. Its a mixture of architectural styles that you can find in Russia. Wrapped in bubble wrap comes 3 giant pieces of solid resin plus 2 more smaller pieces.
You can find it here Trackpads.co.uk
Glued and primed... will be talking later on about the build !!
Got my airbrush and my masking tape .. now its time to test some wood brown colors :
Gave it a filter and wash of oil paint that took ages to dry... and after that its time for a matt varnish !!
then it was time to apply the AK interactive Heavy Chipping... a small coat of red and then I had to chip the red paint !!! Video can be found here Video
Decided to go with light first and then weather it down...
Shades of white some chipping and some oil filters and streaks .... an overall very thinned buff
and apply a bit more buff on the low parts of the walls and door.
Still have to take it a little more darker and light more the columns!!
First work on the walls with different shades of white with some chipping
Its finish !!!
Just didn't glue the doors because dont know if they are going to be closed or open. I had some photoetched parts that decided to use (I think its called a Bindweed) !!
Used Some pigments (brick dust) to give some texture to the bricks !!
It's a very strait forward build and you can let your imagination free while doing the weathering!
Thank you all for your comments!!
