Thanks tim. That is a piece of the bottom lozenge decal. I really don't know why they would have that there instead of cdl, but as I can find no proof it wasn't I went with the instructions.

Thanks Saul. I tried linking but it wouldnt. And now after a hot bath I pulled my head out of the clouds and viola

Ooh, it IS nice! Almost like prisoner stripes! Funny how low-visibility was not even close to their train of thought.

Regards,

Hi James that looks very interesting . What color are the wings ? B)

They are lozenge cam. Darker on top and lighter on bottom.
James

Mein Gott! You chose a very cool, and IMO, very difficult paint scheme, James! Well, I guess it would be hard for me to do something like that, you on the other hand... ;)

Following this one closely! :)

Cheers! B)

Do the decals run the lenth of the kit? Man, I think I would try to paint that, especially if you have those panel lines on the kit to use as a guide for your masking.

Okay got the seat belts done and installed, but my camera skills suck so no good pics this time. Engine frame isn't going together as it should, I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. Have buttoned it up with tape to see what I can see. Weather is playing havoc with me though so I am done for the day.

James, it looks fine! I know how I felt when I buttoned up the Pup, all that work on the cockpit and once closed up, you can barely see it all. But we know it's there. Well done sir!

Okay first a better pic of the seatbelts.

Yes they are. Even nicer than the WWII belts in terms of ease of assembly. Only 1 strap per and a couple of buckles.

What do you say when everythig has been said about something? :idonno Splendid build old chap: the details cannot get any sharper! :notworthy

Ah! There is something left to be said : looking at your chubby fingers on the pics, I think that maybe, and just maybe, I'll have a chance at modeling... :D

Cheers! B)

Thanks everyone. And Fernao, I had to laugh. I've heard that comment a few times, people looking at the big mits I have and wondering how I did something. I think you'll do better than fine and look forward to your 88.
