Well, the house is ordered. Because of the rise in materials, cost went up $7,000. We'll have to cash in an IRA to cover it. Delivery time is 4-6 months.

That's why building for us is out of the question. We've looked at land as low as $2,500 an acre but the cost of building and the availability of contractors makes it a no go.
