Purchase agreement sign.

I can't believe it has only been 6 months since Hurricane Laura hit southwest Louisiana. After going back and forth with SBA over how much money we could use to purchase a new house, we have signed a purchase agreement on a four bedroom modular home. Once we get SBA's blessing, which we hope will come this week, we can order our house. It will take a few months to be made, but there is small light at the end of the tunnel. We're ready to have everyone under one roof for good again. After a cold winter, we brought three of our dogs back to our friend's house yesterday. That hurts. But we gotta keep our eye on the prize.

Here is a link to the home we're buying. It will look exactly like this one only laminate flooring throughout.

Congrats! Nice looking house. Which room will be the hobby room?
Bedroom #2. Bedroom #3 is Ian's room. I don't have a large stash anyway but I will be able to fit at least one of my plastic shelf units in there. My tool carts will fit also.

Well, we emailed all the quotes for the house including concrete and fencing to SBA last night. I'm thankful for the SBA loan but typical of the federal government, they keep delaying and then we have to get new quotes because the materials keep going up. Then they wonder why the quotes go up. Oh well, we'll get there. Once we're able order the house, it should take two to four months to build.

I feel your pain (except the SBA red tape ). We're closing on selling Ma-in-Law's house. started bathroom renovations on ours and will be selling ASAP. Where we're going I don't know but buy god we're goin'! :rotf

Really great Kenney! I like the large kitchen area with the island that appears to have electrical outlets built in. I really enjoy cooking and trust me, storage for and power for gadgets is really important

We like the open kitchen and the island. In our old house, I could touch both counter tops at the same time. Capacity was two people side by side. Renee is worried that she won't have enough pantry space but I assured her that we'll figure it out. We always do.
