Prison Escape

As some may know, there was a bit of a Shawshank Redemption-like prison escape up here in northern NY this week. While its two hours north of where I live now, it's pretty much my hometown up there- they even closed my old high school the last two days during the search. I've still got family up there and loads of high school friends and their families are COs or know of some who are- just keep us all in your thoughts and prayers if you do such things that these bad dudes get caught quick and they all can get back to their normally quiet and secure lives up there...

Thanks friends!

YI got your back dude ... We'll have the Greenville Mechanized Calvary on standby ... Thinking about y'all and for a speedy capture ... :pilot

Thanks Gerry...I've a feeling this boys will be a might regretful when they get caught...Dannemora is not a nice place to begin with- but they'll be heading somewhere worse when they're caught...

I still can't wrap my head around the use of power tools to cut through a wall without being heard. Any where did the electricity come from? They can't possibly have outlets in cells in a max security prison can they?

I don't AB with my little Badger compressor after 10 PM so I don't disturb my kids a floor below me, how do you grind/saw through a steel wall? Twice.

Shawshank was more realistic if you ask me with concrete walls and a cast iron pipe. This is why I only read non-fiction. True stories are much more unbelievable than fiction.

Weird to be sure...the whole thing is surreal...and my mom is parked next to a loaded shotgun all day which is something I'd never thought would happen...

When I was stationed at Plattsburgh our church group did a production of Godspell at the prison... I have never been more nervous in my life... not in Iraq, Not when I got married (3X) and not when I was in a classroom with a student accused (and later convicted) of attempted murder, rape and armed robbery...

Well Our Governor just signed "Open Carry" into law looks like the crime rate will go down in Texas ... :yipee
