The score marks on the wings, what's up with that? The the Cobra family have different wings?

Well the E as well as the D had a 10" wing extension over the A model but the spacing on those score marks is way more than 10". That said the most produced model, the C, had a 10" shorter wing span than the a model so the difference between the C and the E would be 20". Spacing looks bigger than that but hard to tell in the photo. Only 13 E models were built compared to 1,227 for the C and 1,725 for the A. Hopefully they will be doing a C in the future. The kit looks like limited run low pressure molding type from ten years ago with rather soft detail and lots of mold misalignment.

Where did that information come from? The manuals state the same wingspan (38' 4") on the A& C which was increased by ten inches to 39' 2 " on the D with the E using the larger wings. The wingspan of 38' 4" is confirmed on Bell P-63C-5 Kingcobra with serial 43-11223.

I wrote to the owner and he did not rule out the L-39.

If they don't do it, I am sure someone will release a conversion but those wings will be HEAVY!
