Pegasus 1/144 Nautilus

Starting this for a Secret Santa build...ordered some lights from Evan Designs...so far just the lounge done.

Got the sadistic part of the build done by masking the windows and sealing them with clear coat...

What you have done so far looks really good.
I particularly like models reflecting Victorian Engineering in their builds, a bit like the Harper Goff styled Nautilus from Disney's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
Naturally this kit has to be different, but takes many styling concepts from the film one.
I will be following this build.

This one was put to the wayside until summer, but I'm back on it. I wanted to see if the AMMO Atom Burnt Iron would work as the main color and am pretty pleased...

Always liked the Disney Nautilus. This kit isn't of the movie sub (Disney lawyers and copyright, Sheesh )

@centaur567 Don't feel too down my friend, there are a number of aftermarket people that do decent Disney style Nautilus kits. They are just rather expensive and require you to completely scratch build the interior detail if you add it.

My summer build season is quickly drawing to a close. Construction on the Pegasus Nautilus is nearly complete...just some PE railings and struts yet to align and add. Also started the rebox of the Italeri Carro Armato for a build review for AMPS.

I've got a few...the Miniart RSO which is about 80% done, the WnW Sopwith Pup which I'm taking my time on, the Dragon Ka-Mi whose aftermarket tracks are proving to be a pain in the ass, and I just started the Italeri Carro Armato for an AMPS review

Yes you do that. They are great models but they do require patience and test fitting.

Not sure if I remember any issues with the Pup.

Work on the Nautilus is nearly complete...still need to add the teeny tiny PE railings and see about sealing up where light is leaking through. Also trying to decide what color to paint the rod supporting the sub...maybe black?
