Ian build your loader , take it off the shelf , it's a weathering dream palette .
It looks like the base kit is the same as the NATO version sans armored cab and front fenders .
Next up is the Mig wheel loader .
This kit so far is a dream compared to the Plus Models Hyster kit .
First thought , the resin is not the usual hard , brittle , ceramic like resin .
Note to all other resin kit manufactures , find out what this stuff Mig uses ...... and use it , people will love you and buy your kits/product .
Mig's resin on this kit is a softer , almost MiniArt styrene like softer [ unlike the Tamiya , Italeri , very hard styrene ] , easily removed from pour blocks .
Cuts and sands easily , like softer styrene .
Easier " yes " still tedious tho [ as in removing and sanding any type of resin from puor blocks ] .
Little to no warpage , easily corrected when found tho due to the malleable quality of the resin .
Aaaaah instructions , ........ still the Baby Ruth at the bottom of Brentwood's swimming pool quality .
Parts are not numbered , just pictured [ photographed ] on the instruction sheet with corresponding numbers .
Not very clear part locations [ especially on the parts for the bucket hydrolic arms and workings ] .
You more or less have to interpret the part and placement/location in the photograph .
I don't know what " kind " of resin this is but even after warm soap and water parts wash , use primer .
Spraying paint [ air brush/rattle can ] directly on the resin gives a " spraying water on the hood of your car effect " kinda looks like it doesn't want to adhere properly .
All in all at 90% built , I'd give this an " Ice Cream and Strippers at a GoGo bar party " rating .
The figure is a Verlinden one , that tends to be on the larger side of 1/35th scale figures .
This wheel loader is HUGE .
