OK,I'm in(if that's OK?)

Here is the state of play. I decided to make the last style wheels for the LfH18/40. The ref pix are in the background and the late style kit wheel is at the bottom along with the wheel from a 75mm Pak. The Pak wheel is the correct style but too small so....

Here is the second set of horses alnost ready for paint along with the rider.

Not at all! The comments were good and I took them all to heart. One guy though, seems to like to comment but doesn't give ideas, just derogitory remarks, thentake credit for the good ideas others give? Go figure. The world is filled with boneheads and the internet doesn't exclude them, that's for sure. I was no where near past getting started on that figure so I guess in the future the prudent thing to do is to not post until the fig is pretty much done.

I think the prudent thing would be to post up in here where your mates are and we can help get your model spot on before you post it out into the bigboy bonehead area (y) (y)

I never shove anything out into internetland without posting it in here first that way I know full well that people would comment in a great and helpful way rather than get a semi jealous whatever post from some anon fool !

this sunflower in the back looks cool!

:)

just kidding - great job and real nice detail - keep it going

Thanks all,for looking in. Andy,I think that your advice is sage. I will post here before going to the lions' den. I don't know what is worse. Posting on a site that will give you good mixed with useless comments or posting on another site where you will get views but few or absolutely no comments(ah hem...armorama). The perils of the www.

Right on Puppy! Never but good stuff on here. Actually I may have been too mean about Armorama. I did get a lot of good advice, tips and refs over there. It's lately ,though, that it is that I am getting no input what-so-ever so I can't help but wonder what happened?
But,yea,this site is cool,absolutely.

Got some more done on this hing in spite of life getting in the way. Only have a pic of the second dead horse right now. More pix to follow. This is just the main shape fleshed out so far. They are removable from each other so can be gotten sperately. They will be a dead team with destroyed supply wagon that "my guys" are trying to get around.

Nice one Jerry I was hoping that was going to be what the surprise was !!!

Awesomeness !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (y) (y) (y)

Had to take a break from working on the cannon until my mold of the new wheel was done. The mold is done and this is what the new wheel looks like.(kind of chipped after removal from the mold.)I will make some castings of the wheel now. The rest of the gun is coming along. I think this breech cover is better than my first one for the heavier 105 and I used the tissue method for the muzzle cover and the gunsite cover. Just need to add some PE and then paint this gun!
The horsies are a different matter.

First horsie about 90% done. Need to add the stirrups which were pinned up on off side mounts. Still trying to catch up with ya'll on my painting skills.
