Jerry , early in the war stamped pressed steel wheels were used .
You are absolutly correct about these limbers being later war and field mods .
They have wooden wheels and field mod hook ups .
They are also pics. of restoration limbers from the 60's or early 70's , they are missing some hardware and sundry accoutrements but are good examples of later war limbers .
You're doing a great job on a tough subject !!!
I checked my stash and I have the supply wagon kit and the red cross job , got them on e-bay back in the 90's .
You're more than welcome to them , as long as you continue the great work and make a cool little convoy with your current build :laugh:

The first black and white pic. in your last post is a Bundswier [ sp ? ] archive pic. in Italy in 1944 [ I believe ] and was taken by a German photographer .
