North Star Hobbies is closed

I have bought from North Star Hobbies for years now over the internet. Havent been there for a few weeks and went tonight to see what was new. They are now closed. So for any Canadian modelers who ordered from there, thats one less store to visit. Bummer.

Went to place an order for the new 1/35 Meng Merkava IIID and saw the closed notice. very sad news. I wonder where I can order AFV Club, Bronco, Hobby Boss, Master Box and Meng stuff from now? I used to order my stuff from Northstar and then get my niece to drive me the 60 kilometres to pick it up. None of the shops here in town carry those lines. I need another Canadian supplier since the duty from the US is a real killer at times/

Wow, seems like several online retailers are closing lately.

A place I've ordered from a few times, that ships both in Canada & the US, Model Express, announced this week they were shutting down too.

are you close to the Niagara region? this is my local hobby shop. if you can get down here they can order pretty much anything for you

Emailed them and they replied that they do not carry Meng products.
