I saw- maybe on Future Weapons- that they can fire one round on a high trajectory, then a medium and finally a low and they will impact simultaneously. Ouch! It was most impressive.

For that to happen you need to be within 10 - 15 km of the target because of elevation vs difrence in loads. Thats almost line of sight teritory I dont think any modern artillery man want to be that close in a world where anti artilery radar can pick up 60mm mortars never mind 155mm shells.

When that close rather run a pack of Multiple rockets and run like hell after shooting.

Then again I come from open bushed country. European war-theatre propably has difrent needs than what you need in open bush warfare.

Is this the gun that can drop three shells on a target at once?

I remember reading about that somewhere while back. Different angle of the barrel and different load of powder, I do wonder how often they would do that, I mean how often do you need to put three shells on the same spot? Think three in a row on the same spot would be more devastating.
