New SAR Aircraft for RCAF

There will be an official announcement tomorrow that the Airbus C295 has been selected as the new Fixed Wing Search and Rescue aircraft for the RCAF. It will be replacing the CC115 Buffalo and older CC130 Hercules models that have been assigned to SAR duties.

I believe the main wheels remain slightly exposed when fully retracted. The lump under the nose is a FLIR turret.
