new paycheck

So got a new job! So I am a procurement guy (AKA: Paid Scapegoat), mostly because I enjoy getting beaten about the head and shoulders, apparently. At any rate, a new Company over in Anderson SC hired me, and breaking in this week! that is the reason for a bit less posting, was closing stuff out at the old place, now getting settled in.

this company makes electrical switch gear, neat stuff! They are from Ireland, and so far, things are looking good, but really at day 5 it is hard to say for sure.

So as long as I am sharing, is there anyone on here from Ireland?

My Grandmother's family (on my Dad's side) were from Ireland, County Cork. There are no direct line relatives left there, they had all left for Canada, US and Australia by 1912. My Great Grandfather and his 2 brothers had been Royal Irish Constabulary before then.

Cheers,
Rich

Congrats on the new paycheck .... :woohoo: ... Nope our families from the island next door ... :Hiay

I wish I could come up with something for my brother in the Kansas City area. He was laid off from sprint over a year ago and can't seem to find anything worthwhile. He is still trying and sending out resumes and getting interviews, but having no real luck.
