Been building on my 1/32 Ju88 and making progress. Have a Fine Molds Me410 that I might do. Problem is that the kit is for a Me410 A1 which actually had a different cockpit and canopy than the regular Me410 which is what the kit has. Am half tempted to keep on keeping on with the Ju88.

Pondering life as one sometimes does on a Sunday afternoon, where do military softskin vehicles fit in the scale list? Those types that are unarmed or unarmoured, motorcycles, staff cars, ambulances, supply trucks/lorries, busses et al. The same question for surplus military softskins that continue life in civilian jobs.

Would they be Armor (1/48 and smaller) or Automotive (1/32 or smaller)?

For consideration,
RichB

The point of "Micro" has always been to build a smaller than usual scale. Most armor and military vehicles are 1/35th and bigger. Thus it would be 1/48th for MMM.
I mainly like to build 1/32 and larger so 1/48th is small for me, but that isn't really "Micro" so it sticks to 1/72.

I am still considering building the Me410, but doing different markings than what the kit has.

I was planning to build Bandi's 1/48th Panther Aust. G when the Cobra's are done. The weather might be good enough to spray the flat coat on. Just so happens that MMM 2025 is starting. Not sure if a month is going to be long enough though. Gary S.

I will wish you all good luck and follow along but i cant make a lot of sense of small scale as my eyesight get worse and my fingers get fatter ;)

I got the Mk II Eyeball upgrade a couple of years ago (cataract surgeryon both eyes). Now it isn't always a little foggy everywhere and night driving doesn't look like a hyperdrive jump.

Cheers,

Same here Padmeister! I can barely see 1/48 and that is with 10X magnifiers on. Watching and wowing :popcorn

March Micro Modeler Month entries must be completed by April Fool's Day (April 1st for those not celebrating). I am hoping by 2030 if am to join!
