Re: MID PRODUCTION TIGER I"UPDATE 12"

I'm home with a sick kid so that means a little extra bench time. While doing track assembly I took a timeout to do some weathering to the bottom hull, under the fenders, and such before putting the tracks on. See what you think. Here are some pictures and comments are welcome.

Re: MID PRODUCTION TIGER I"UPDATE 13"

Well I spent the afternoon and evening working on the Tiger. A lot has been done. I finished the other track run. Painted and weathered the tracks. Chipped the upper hull, weathered the wheels, did the exhaust.......well a lot. Comments and questions are welcome.

Mate I want wash a dark yellow/red brown gun would the olive green be the go or the umber/seinna mix?

Thank's in advance.

That turned out really nice, Terry! I agree with Bob, the exhaust covers look really swell!

Ok this may seem funny, but I decided not to be done. So I have edited the thread to show that. You haven't gone nuts I just changed my mind.

Well if it's more yellow than brown I would use olive green. If it is more brown use umber/seinna mix.

Tanktastic Terry!

What did you do to the exhaust shields to get that heat distortion look? (y)

Ahh man it was late and I'm trying to figure it out myself. I used and brush to kinda streak it down the shield and then oversprayed it with nato black. I want to see if I can duplicate what I did.
