Glad to be on board! I've been modelling since my teens (over 40 yrs), and like many of you, it's been an on-again, off-again thing. Started with WW2 aircraft but my main focus these days is Armour (any era but mostly WW2). I'll build just about anything though, I find it keeps me fresh and motivated. I dont build a lot but enjoy the research, building and detailing. I rarely build a stand-alone model, preferring bases, even if simply landscaped. Glad to be a part of the group, not many forums still around these days! 👍

Howdy you..
Welcome aboard. Yeah I've said from day one I'll be the one who turns the lights out when everyone has left the forum. We have folks who come and go, you'll see a huge member list. Some just move on from modeling, our forum or whatever else nature brings us.
Personally I'm not the FB or other socials type guy. I know a lot of forums have gone to FB because it's cheep and easy.

Let's see some of your work please.

Welcome aboard. Looking forward to seeing your builds and hear you insights from research. Always up for learning something new. I am not modeling as much as I wish I could right now , but still love researching.

Welcome to a most eclectic group of model makers and plastic perusers! If you make tanks (You're welcome!) you will find yourself in very good company. To your dismay, you may find the red doors have been painted here, Sir!
Do you belong to an IPMS Chapter? Whatcha workin' on now? Where do you hail from? Where didja serve? :silly:
Yes, I've had lots of good coffee since 0500 hrs. :yipee:

Welcome to the forum!
you will find that there is a core group here that has been around for years. In many cases we have actually met in person (at least in the US). We also have a Zoom meeting that we have started the first Saturday of the month, usually about 8AM Central US time. Still trying to get some of the Euro members to join in. I personally enjoy this group more than my local group in Memphis TN.
