Even a shot down Bf 109 is better than none at all. :)

The 109, figures, and base, are all skillfully done and a pleasure to see.

The Bf 109 in all its variants used metal prop blades, there were never even plans to start using wooden propellers before the end of production.
It was the later marks of Fw 190's and the Ta 152 C and H that were fitted with wooden propellers.
