LRDG Chevrolet

Jogy

Member
Hi,

My first post here from a subject that I have finished recently. I took almost a year to finish and in the meantime NWM came with a set of LRDG figures and they fit very well to the car.
It's the old Chevrolet kit from Tamiy.

Hope you like it.

I thought you said you didn't finish anything. Looks pretty danged finished to me! Really nice finish to boot!

I can see now I for one will be enjoying your work. What have you got on the bench?

Well, this the one I finished this year that I also started this year. I started this year with the promise to myself to finish first and then start something new. I finished two project which I started in 2009, a Churchill AVRE and a T34. If you like I will show some pictures of this project.

On my bench you can find a lot:
The M1114 Bronco kit, camo ready, busy with stowage and weathering is waiting.
A M60A1 IDF and two M113 Vietnam, build but no paint, they are waiting for primer.
And 5 kits started but back in the box waiting for better moment.

At this moment I'm busy with a Stug III C/D, Cyberhobby rebox from an old Dragon kit. I have a Blackdog set that will cover most of the Stug. I have plans to put the Stug on a Famo, I got the Famo with trailer for my birthday and that's a very nice kit.

Thanks!

Hi,

 Well ... I will show the pictures from the finished projects soon, that are not much projects.

I didn't made picture from the Stug, it's very bad weather here, dark and not a nice time for good pictures, but I will made some after finishing the build, because the Stug is almost finished. The Famo is still in the box, so you didn't miss the start of that build, that will come in the near future.

Very nice result on what is now a pretty old Tamiya kit. Well Done. (y)

Only thing missing is a kitchen sink...

Nicely loaded vehicle and well finished Jogy :)
For some reason the green coat stands out too much? I wonder if it is because it is the only thing that green shade and once the eye is drawn to it it may seem a little too clean compared to the surroundings?
Good stuff
Brad

Excellent work, Johanna! The randomness of everything really makes this build in my eyes, looks very natural! Welcome! (y)
