I think it's very much like the seam on the center section of the Phantom wing tanks Bob. A flange that is bolted together.

Sort of wondering if it is not too thin.

Awesome detail on the aftermarket. It's gonna look great.
I'm always envious of you "Fly Boy" modelers. I recently came across the only attempt I've ever made to build an aircraft. It's a C-47 that's so sad I'm thinking of lighting it on fire and throwing it off the roof. My grandson would think that's cool.
