Let Modelling Season Begin

We are having our first snowfall ushering in the regular season for model building. A light snow is accumulating on cars and lawns. Areas little north and west of us have larger accumulations and some areas are under winter storm watches.

Time to start those projects planned over the summer, open the kits acquired for them, put new blades in the X-acto knifes and crack open a new bottle of glue.

Allons-y!

I've got a FV 214 that I've been puttering away at over the summer. Trying to push it over the finish line. Next you're going to ask what a FV 214 right?

Cheers,
RichB

We still have green trees and lawns here, though it finally is dropping into the 40's tonight as we have had a bit of rain the last couple of days.

I'm dreaming of a white Halloween 🎃.

New meaning to "frost on the pumpkin".

Yeah went to work to hand in my pass, laptop and keys and say goodbye, then walked out to this. Heavy wet snow that's slippery (ask me how I know). Winter has arrived and I am RETIRED, so I dont care :yipee: :yipee:

Congratulations and welcome to the club.

This weather will only matter when your latest model order is sitting at the post office, calling your name. Neither rain nor snow nor heat nor gloom of night shall keep me from my model. Or something like that.

Cheers,
RichB

LOL! Tulsa Oklahoma had a white Halloween back in the early 2k's. Thought it was wild and weird at the same time. It actually snowed enough to stick and make everything white.
