Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Okay todays mail truck brought my Panda Tracks for my RamII. The Canadian pattern tracks look like Panzer III tracks but with double teeth rather than single. Usually the Brits would remove these tracks and put on US M4 Pattern tracks.
Got my S-60 conversion, unfortunately they sent me the S-65 Stalinetz. Guess I will have to send it back and wait some more :angry:
Also 3 new Osprey books on early Greeks and Romans.

James, which S-65 set did they send to you? The Trumpeter kit is the S-65 for which they have the engine, the Caterpillar 60, the S-60, and the wood burning engine.

Checking my stash, I see I have a Plus Models S-60 full kit so I am hoping you got the Caterpillar 60 and we may trade.

Hi Saul, they sent the Stalinatz wood burning. I wanted the S-60 you showed in the whats new so I could do a Farm tractor. I already bought and recieved the Trumpeter S-65.

Okay, this should be the last for awhile.
The new Maultier Mule and new Ferdinand

I gave in to Tony's influence and curiosity for the next two.

My first 1/48 aircraft in eons. I think I will save it for the Fight Cancer Campaign. Oh and why did I get another 1/48 when I dont build them anymore?? Week will under the influence of Modelers Alliance a/c guys.

Some parts for my F-117 and one of my Canadair Sabres

And a book that looked interesting. If your a Panther nut like me then this will blow you away. Maybe a review if there is interest.

I think I've had 1 of each version by Dragon. Not sure why I got this, but I find the vehicle very interesting. The book is really nuts and bolts. This one is about the drivetrain and the hull and is from the refurbished Panther at the Wheatcroft Collection. Book 2 should be the Tiger walkaround and book 3 with be the Panther Project again and cover engines and extras. Highly detailed pics from when they rebuilt their Panther. Its just wild.

The peerless is of course the origninal version of that Ambulance. I talked with Bruce Culver,author of a bunch of armor books from years gone by.
He told me the Peerless/Italeri Dodge 3/4 ton series are a bit wide on the hood/grill front. I may kitbash this ambulance with a Skybow/AFV Club Dodge.

I was told the Hobby Boss track may fit onto the Italeri Elephant. I am trying to find a cheap Elephant for a future what if conversion.
I want to see if the 38 CM mount from a Sturmtiger will fit onto an Elephant.
