Went to Denver for Grace to play softball and it snowed 2 inches. So we ran over the local IPMS club show and swap meet. Not much in the way of entries but some of vendors had some good deals.

I only got a couple things lately. One I already finished. It is related to model building and is very historical:

I saw that at Costco and had to buy it since I've already read this author's book "A Higher Call".

This other item is a laser-cut kit of a sentry box from Monroe Perdue in 1/72 scale. I got this as a participation prize in a Group Build on Missing Lynx Braille Scale Forums:

Received a book to review and a book that I hope will help me paint my War Elephant. I also got a book on painting IDF Vehicles because why not?? Then decals for a 1/32 Cf-188 in Last Years Airshow livery seeing as my son was one of the main painters. And finally an opponent for the War Elephant.

After the model show last weekend I went out to our local museum. They had purchased a collection from someone who passed who had more than 3300 kits! Quite impressive to see them all.

The goods arrived from Gary & Mike safe & sound. Though USPS did it's damnedest to damage Mike's shipment, they made it through with only a small wrinkling on the MiG box (plastic all intact from what I could tell on inspection).

Got a few things arrived from the Ukraine this week.

Got a family bed kit for a house diorama I'm working on. The kit is plastic, PE and wood.

2 sets each of Panther and Tiger I grills (early variants)

German WW2 military maps

Russian WW2 military maps

1/48 scale tools = 30 assorted sizes combination spanners. I'm using some of these in a LRDG repair diorama. I got the 1/48 scale tools instead of 1/35 scale because I figured the 1/48 scale tools would be closer in size to the tools used on a Chevy truck or on some civilian car.
