Couple of more came in. As soon as my T-54B is done I think the Stork will be up.

QA does not seem impressed though. Looks like she thinks it will cut into her treats allowance or something

James.

If that T-54 kit with the interior is like the interior kit Igot then you'll have lots of fun with it. Did the Russians use that T-54 or was it strictly a sold elsewhere tank? I've been thinking about getting one but I'd do that only if it was used by the Russians.

Cheers

It looks like a good build. As far as my research has found yes they were used. A nice succinct write up can be found here http://www.tanks-encyclopedia.com/coldwar/USSR/soviet_T-54.php with a good selection of colour plates.

At 60% off, this purchase was less than $5USD total (including the 8.5% sales tax) at Michael's Craft Shops:

Very strong magnets are used to hold up my tools.

And some more. I got the T-84 for the display Maus and I are working on, an update a a full kit fromCIX Models. The update for my Meng Peugeot and a Harley Davidson which Mike has already shown. as well as some Vinno casks. Also a fellow is making a complete vignette from Lady Buttlers painting called Roll Call. Set 1 just arrived and set 2 is on the way. 3 more sets to go. And finally I broke down and bought the circle cutter I had mentioned in whats new a while back. Its really expensive with the exchange and everything but should be more reasonable for those in the States.

Very cool sores James! Way to go!

This past weekend at Hobby Day, I got a very late Christmas present from a friend and fellow IPMS club member:

IBG_Models_Type_89_Japanese_Tank.jpg

This has link and length tracks on this tiny tank! I might be starting this very soon.

That's a cool tank Duke, but I cant imagine link and length in the scale you do. I cant even handle it in my scale. respect :salute

Picked up three kits over the last couple of weeks but ended up just not feeling all that great. Spent part of the weekend in the hospital with what was diagnosed as pancriatitis. Am out now and am feeling much better but am having to be super careful with what I eat for a while. One good thing is I have lost 12 pounds and my spare tire has shrunk to a better size (hey be thankful for small things). Bad thing was the nursing staff in the hospital were a joke.

Anyway much better now and I have some goodies to show.

How does the Fokker look James?! I might be interested in that kit myself! The HPH Aviatic Berg looks to be of equivalent quality to the WNW kits we all like and know. Probably going to be a while before buying any new kits for me. Doctor bills. :vmad

It looks okay to me. I think the struts are a bit thin and so will need another solution. I have an Aviattic Fokker Dr I cowling and will use that along with a Taurus engine and Gaspatch guns. I think a nice model could be made without those also, but I like to torture myself lol.

On the other hand, I finally got rid of the expensive "Hot Spot" for internet access and replaced it with AT&T fiber optic internet. (YAY!) Monthly cost about the same. :woohoo:

They finally got the fiber optic set up in my area (about 40ft behind my house) and I was able to get it installed quite quickly and pretty much for nothing. :silly:  :silly:

What a night. Daughter and Son in Law came up to do some camping so we all got together for a campfire and roasting hot dogs etc. They and the boys exchanged gifts for all the birthdays that we have had in the past 4 weeks. My boys surprised the heck out of me though with the gift they gave me. Its a fantasy figure that I liked but decided not to get because of the price. I am so awed. I am now the proud owner of kit number 107 of 170 of the vignette called Atonement. I'm just all :yipee :geek :frantic :woohoo: :drool :D

Nice wooden box.
