It is a shame about the LHSs going out of business... I was at mine today and he had just gotten a huge order from a local supermarket chain to provide very complex train sets for several of the stores... Cha Ching! :coolio

My latest acquisition is a tan in Mexico... Not really germane to the discussion....

Unfortunately a lot of the small brick and mortar hobby stores can not compete with the web based sellers when model builders buy most of their stuff online. Heck, even some of the smaller online stores can't compete with the bigger online stores.

Hi all!

..watch what I receive by the mailman today :

...the polemic Me 109 from Eduard in its ROYAL EDITION...just cool!...inside the big black box several goodies!...a small original metal piece of a real Me 109 G 14 with authenticity certificate!...we can choose sixteen versions between the versions G2, G4 ,G10 and G14...also , inside we have two Me109 G....see the pictures...I´ll make these two models in two diferent campaigns of MA....










...and two classics of the 70´s...1971 Edition of THE AUGSBURG EAGLE....and 1979 Edition of KOOKABURRA The Modeller´s LUFTWAFFE PAINTING GUIDE...

Got in more stuff for my Fokker builds. A Fokker E.I and E.IV cowling from Aviattic. I also picked up a peach basket seat and Andrew was kind enough to through in a new Nieuport 28 cowling. Got some decals and some priming cups. I also got a 3 figure set for my Salmson. Pilot, Observer, and maintainer. These are incredably nice figures full of detail and crisply molded. I also got an equally nice set of German ground crew for my refueler.
From Taurus I got a gorgeous Oberusel U.III for my Eindecker E.IV and their new muzzles for the early Spandau with and without flash suppressor. You have to see these things. I also got some more priming cups (2 piece super fine) and some other engine parts. Now its time to get to work.
