Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Latest Acquisitions

History of the German panzer divisions and their strategies. Full of maps, pictures and the individual stories and campaigns of the major panzer divisions. Black and white though, and no real info on specific vehicles though it does go into some of the different types of vehicles used.Lots of simple line drawings. Found mine for 11 bucks shipped to me, you may really like it too James. Worth the effort to find. CR

And I just described the middle book while you asked about the one on the far right! Sorry. Panzer IV is really nice, but a clumsy read at times because it was translated into English from Spanish! This is a lot -to me- like a Squadron book, color and bw pics, color painting plates, and a good bit of general info on the panzer IV. The book ends with a restoration of a Panzer IV H in Spain. I like it, but an Osprey book would have been better. Maybe. One thing is certain, there is NO info on the different types of ammo used on the Panzer IV L-24 gun nor the later L-43 or whatever its designation was. That was half the reason I bought it, hoping it had info on the different shells! lol CR

Nice haul Terry. There is already am to make that P-61 better. I dont know if I will buy the cockpit, but definately there is a fix for the nose and for the cowl flaps and exhaust. There are also wheels available for it, and a ton of decals. Cant wait to see you get into it.

It looks like a really nice kit. It doesn't look like it needs much. I might get the wheels though.

Well the nose is wrong for an A or a B and there is an issue with the exhausts. Cockpit seems nice to me.

Right now I'm thinking I will leave the nose off to see the radar setup. Put the nose on a work table or something.

Very very cool Saul. Some interesting kits there. Could you maybe show the farm yard? Also how much difference between the early and late BRDM2?
