'Kwame needs his rest'

@tiking, you're always so modest and your skills are AMAZING. however, what about letting us in on a secret... Like, what kits did you use for the scene (especially the figures).

First of all, thank you for your uplifting words. The 3 figures are from 'Mantis Miniatures' . The 4th figure, the boy in the building, is from the 'AK-Interactive, as well as the Jeep. The building is scratchbuilt. The grass is static grass from Woodland Scenics and the bushes was made from scratch.

Fantastic example of less is more, the separate details merge together to fire your imagination and tell a story. I really like it :)

Excellent work Charles...your work always inspires me to do modern armor. I'm just starting Hobby Boss' Olifant and the scratch built building has me wanting some step by step background on what you did. If you ever publish a book on your work and technique I'd be first in line to buy it.

I appreciate your uplifting and encouraging sentiments. Thank you. The building was nothing complicated. I used poster boards glued together. Then I went over it with medium wall putty/paste to get the grainy and/or rough texture. Then I cut small plastic/styrene to get the window bars. I painted the wall with a concrete mixture I had my local paint store mixed up for me.

Don't knock your figure painting Charles, those figures look REALLY GOOD! Overall an excellent and very realistic build as usual.
It gets the

Mucha appreciated. I always find the quality of the figure helps, emmensely, for me anyways. That is the details are way better and much better to paint than cheaper, less detailed figures.

This is excellent. I remember seeing this type of vehicle on a couple of deployments. Nasty stuff.

On the figures I have done it the past I spent a lot of time getting the sculpt cleaned up first as if the sculpt is good the paint work makes it even better.
