I think this looks better. No brass paint so I replaced whatever that is on the left with brass rod.

I used Vallejo Duraluminum. Very easy to spray.Unsure just yet. I got some more detail on the IP and the frame. I tried the Mission Models flat clear again, glossy again. Used the Alclad Aqua flat and it flatted right out.
@jknaus I see the aluminum call out, what aluminum would you suggest? Polish, dull or the RAF high speed flavor?

I want to get the seat and sidewalls painted and weathered up before I commit all the sub assemblies.The top "U" on the rudder PEDALS are the stirrups that held the pilots feet in place. They were made of heavy webbing and held in place by two screws on each side.
The one below was recovered from the crash site of Spitfire Ia R6753 in 1976. It was shot down in August 1940.
