A Hasegawa kit made direct from the box only seat belts from Eduard and some wiring and oil lines.
I started to build and then paint the engine.

I knew I liked you! Nice looking work so far. I know that Hasegawa offer some unique subjects but I just never found myself picking up one, I don't think there's one in my stash.
 
I hate to appear so critical but this is a KI-44 not the famous KI-61. Could someone fix the title ?

Very cool build, Typhon: you just gotta love the shadowing and dry brushing effects! I like Japanese WW II airplanes a lot - some were formidable aircrafts, specially in the beginning of the war. And their choices of colors and cammo schemes are very interesting too.
