An Airfix Spitfire Mk Vc would be a new one and should be a pleasant build. My previous Airfix Spitfire Mk. Vc was a kitbash trying to keep the Airfix Mk, Vb scalloped center section as it was the most accurate in shape. Here it is grafted into the Revell Mk. Vb lower wing:1/72 TBM-3 or Spitfire Vc, anyone?
Sounds that Mirage got as much use out of that airframe as we got out of the Phantom II and then some.Your Kfir is most probably an ex USN or USMC Kfir named F-21 and used in the agressor program and now used by ATAC.
Yes, that's true and the Russians with their Mig-21 which also was in use in 2024 or even this year. And both, The Phantom and the Mirage did fight against the Mig-21. The Phantom mainly in Vietnam and the Mirage used by Israel against the Arabs and by South Africa against Angola Migs with Cuban pilots.Sounds that Mirage got as much use out of that airframe as we got out of the Phantom II and then some.
Spitfire to Seafire, easy conversion and you might have this unusual Seafire Mk. III of the Irish Air Corps:1/72 TBM-3 or Spitfire Vc, anyone?
The Turkish Air Force is still flying F-4's. The smokin' Thunderhog lives on!Yes, that's true and the Russians with their Mig-21 which also was in use in 2024 or even this year. I notice the TBM paint jobs differ. Oh wise and powerful Garcia, tell us why that is?
I should have placed a wager!
I knew you couldn't refuse a challenge!
That, I did not have to Google.France did build a Mirage 5 based on requirements from Israel in fact modified Mirage III E, the Mirage 5 for Israel was named Mirage 5 J. The 5 did have smaller radar and some other changes as the Israelis needed a lower price Mirage III E. But during this project France politics decided not to give military equipment to Israel anymore. At the same time France build the Mirage III S for Switzerland where the S was also based on the III E. Out of Swiss the Israelis did get the constructions planes of the Mirage III S and build from them the IAI Nesher/Dagger and from that later the Kfir. So, in the End the Kfir is a version of the Mirage III E with an american engine. The planed Mirage 5 J were later build as 5 F and used by France. A lot of Mirage 5 were later exported to a lot of countries.
