I think it looks very good Christian. Some times it's not about scale perfection but rather what makes sense and looks good. :good: :good:

Thanks ! Glad you like it Dave as I have no better answer then what you see :soldier

Now, if I could only figure out what sort of glue this plastic really needs . Even the Pro Weld is only melting it superficially :bang head

B) I managed to get a couple of licks in on this build.

All the fuselage seams refuse to stay closed

and since I am not ready to install the real floor I made a false floor and super glued it in place .

After it dried over night I installed the last window ( top right ) but that was after installing a shim as the window is too small for the hole . :S

Now, I'll be off to the thrilling part of masking the glass off :facepalm

Just discovered a new burnishing too idea for masking :)

Dusted off my highly technical jig and glued the wing on tonight .

Window frames are masked and primed . On to the tail tomorrow . :pilot

In the end, it took a good amount of glue to weld all these pieces together

but only one .020 shim in the lower right tail boom and all is straight and square.

Now , I just need to clean everything up.

Over the last couple of days I have been adding all the remaining bits and pieces to this airframe.

And there are plenty of them.

I also fabricated the control horns for the rudder system . Probably should have done the elevator as well :facepalm .

The main gear and , wing struts and those pesky little corner have been added to the door frames.

The nose gear is a real oddity . The molding of the gear was so poorly done that I had to fill the holes in the knuckles and drill them out so they could be attached properly .

The cow catcher is installed but will have to be secured to the belly latter. Needs more work on the nose gear so it does not interfere with the painting.
