It was great chatting with ya’all. Then a transformer blew when a truck ran into the pole! Drunk driver at that hour!

I read an article a few years ago about the police in Sydney, NSW setting up impaired driving check points during the morning commute, 6 to 10 AM. They were catching more drivers then than they did at night.

People going out bar hopping until closing at 2 AM or later, crashing at a friend's place and then driving to work or home to change after a few hours of sleep were still legally impaired.

Our unit followed the "12 hour bottle to throttle" rule for anyone involved in flight operations and everyone on the org chart from the CO down to the new admin clerk in the Orderly Room was involved in flight operations.
