German weapons and equipment was used by the French in Indochina (1945-1954) ,from the p08 Luger to the junker 52.

There even a story around on the WWW that they send a Panther tank for testing and was left after the war

Fascinating, I guess with all that stuff left over why not recycle. About as ironic as Israel using BF109s.

Are you going to include German weapons and equipment on your Indochina builds?
(I can almost hear the judges at modelshows, if you enter your models in compitition say:"Hey,that never happened".) :laugh:

Well,I did know that the French used the German Panther tank after WW2,but this is completely new for me.

You forgot the most used one.

Germans themselves in the Foreign legion At one stage almost 70% of all the recruits were Germans - Its also where so many of the Legions songs come from.
