Slowly adding bits and pieces. Today I spend some time bending PE and also tried my luck with soldering for the first time. Fortunate for me the solder won't be seen once the kit is done. I started on the recovery winches today. I also primed the trailer to get it ready for paint. Here are a few more WIP pics.

Thanks Bob, I hope you come visit me on the Happy Farm and have a cup of tea with me.

Anyway, I couldn't resit and put the PZH 2000 on the transporter since I plan to have her on there for good eventually. I had to get almost 4 feet away from the model to take the picture and here is how it looks like. I put a small bottle of Tamiya paint in front to give an idea about the size.

I hadn't seen this topic, I have read it first and it's really impressing. Huge and the P2000 makes it even bigger. I build this kit in 1/72 scale from Revell and detailled it with some wire. I see a lot of PE, something I think you don't need a kit with that high amount of PE ;)

Good luck!

Ty Johanna, I had the Revell 1/72 kit as well with the complete Eduard PE for it for a review. Giving the detail of the Revell kit, the PE set isn't neccessary. I know I use a lot of PE but the Trumpeter kit, its needed. The detail, even though it is a larger scale isn't nearly as good as the little Revell kit.

I finally started to spray the first layer of paint on. It is just amazing how much paint I need for this kit, especially on the green. I might have to roan the internet to get a few more bottles. And yes I know, I am not done with the green on the trailer.

Did I just notice a surge in the OD Green market on the web?? Seems demand suddenly skyrocketed. :mpup

Looking good Joe.

Thanks Bob. But maybe I should change colors once in a while. What about black. Tires, Tires,Tires,Tires....37 to be correct.

Thank you, Andy. And here is the dashboard. Won't see much of it once the cabin is closed up. The photo film is a hair of center. and I still need to paint the instrument on top of the board.
