OK-- you've picqued my interest....what is that two blade prop twin engine plane with the three bombs hanging up above??

Looks like a Beech Twin Bonaza to me. Didn't know they had a military version.

That twin engine aircraft is at TDR-1, a drone, 165 built by Naval Aircraft Factory,designed to carry a torpedo then later a two thousand pound bomb, 100 sent to Pacific Theater, During July to October 1944,executed 46 launches against Japanese targets around the Solomon islands, 29 reached target area with 18 scoring hits (bought the museum book, and that was just for the pictures )

Maybe they are part of Boeing now................... Or should I say is; when you build planes just to crash you can forget about selling maintenance, extended warranties, spare parts and updates.

According to Wiki, if you follow the chain they were bought by Harlow Aircraft Company (another unknown to me), who inturn was bought by Vultee Aircraft (heard of them), then Convair, who was sold to General Dynamics... and we know the rest of the story from there.. :drinks
