Exercises in painting

I don't always model military stuff and sometimes do Sci Fi and fantasy, though I think the field is rather limited and very expensive ( that seems to be the gripe with ALL the modellers everywhere!). So when I see these fellas pop up, I grab them. A real joy to paint and the wife actually likes them!

Love it, far as I'm concerned they are models. You pick up ideas and techniques painting things things that can be applied to other stuff. Figure painting, tank painting, aircraft painting, they all can share techniques across the board.
