From my limited research on zeros, they were either built by Mitsubishi or Nakajima. The paint varied between the two. All paint was MRPs new japanese line. I believe the type 21s were built by Nakajima.

Mo, Robert Mikesh wrote an excellent reference on the Zero. There are production figures in the back and according to Mikesh Mitsubishi built 111 A6M2 Type 21's, in 1940/41. Nakajima built no Zeros until 1941/42, where they built 69, I think those would have been Type 21's but the book does not make that clear. In 1941/42, Mitsubishi built 496 A6M2's, in 1942/42 133 more Type 21's. Then Mitsubishi shifted to the A6M3. Nakajima kept building A6M2 variants until the 1944/45 production year, producing a total of 783 in 1942/43 and 1776 in 1943/44, then they went to the A6M5.

Really nice presentation, like the clarity of the canopy and the fine line detail of the canopy frame
