Dragon Morser "Karl"

I'm thinking of all that cash I'm saving on that Paul. Just gonna play with some German Grey on this. No reply to email, think Monday I'll put the touch on Paypal to get my money back.

Sorry to hear of your troubles, with that guy, this is what makes me mad as a M&P shop, these stores with no customer service. Those wheels look real good, nice job on them.

Sic Paypal on him, that's pretty low to take an order with no intention of filling it. Shame on them!

Well I got a reply from the seller with a image of the shipping receipt, Dated the 17th so we'll see.

Just to let everyone know, if you want a replacement barrel get it from One35th.com http://one35th.com/

It did worry me that I had no word from the seller but the item showed up today. Excellent product and he sent me a nice 54mm barrel as well. Thank you so much, I'll post some pictures of them later.

Hey Bob, you need a munition wagon for this beastie? Not sure, it might even have metal rounds.

Here are the One35th.com barrels.

I don't have a caliper, or drawings of the real thing but I can tell these are well made. Very polished aluminum with no burs needed to be cleaned up. The 60mm round that came with the kit fits exactly into the barrel so that's spot on.

There is no rifling inside the barrels but you could add the Eduard PE rifling but that would create a seam I would think. Guess we send it to Paul and let him machine it for us. :good:

LOL! :rotf My name isn't Scotty and I'm not a "mearickle wurker" (My best Scottish accent)

If you were to use the Eduard rifling, don't forget to heat it and anneal it. Then have the seam at the top of the barrel where it won't be seen. If you don't want the seam at the front of the barrel, add small drops of thin CA to the edge and fill it using a small flat wire from a drop of CA on a piece of glass. Once filled, smooth with fine sandpaper and spray alclad. Don't get it in the rifling grooves. If you do keep some nice makeup q-tips handy to wipe it out. A final wipe out with CA remover on the q-tip should keep the grooves clean.
Did that help? :idonno :bang head
